SUMMER SPLASH!
What is it?
Summer Splash® is a FREE, fun-filled Day Camp for children from all walks of life. Team sports and creative art activities are offered to promote an active, healthy lifestyle. Summer Splash is made possible by a network of children's pastors, volunteers and community leaders concerned for the children of Bradley County. Through the financial support of local business and individual contributions, Summer Splash is able to provide leadership mentoring, devotional lessons, worship songs, inspirational speakers, and group games for up to 1,000 campers in 2011.
Goals and Objectives
The short term impact of Summer Splash will increase the student's confidence in their ability to participate in team sports and express themselves through art in a safe learning environment. In the long term, children will gain confidence in their abilities to pursue ambitious goals and increase their commitment level to any task. Children are encouraged to show respect for themselves, others, and authority as this will carry over into later
roles in the workplace.

Share your story with a child today, and your message of hope could reach around the world. It is our desire that every Summer Splash camper will shape their view of the world through the lens of forgiveness and grace through Jesus Christ, our Savior. As campers mature into young adults, they will become community leaders at home and abroad. Your positive influence today can create a ripple effect that will last for several
generations and reach around the globe
through the influence of a changed life.
Hands and Feet
Summer Splash will get kids moving through sports, songs, and fun art activities. More importantly, Summer Splash demonstrates to young people how muchGod cares for them and wants to have a relationship with each and every one of his children. For some, the leaders and volunteers at camp may be the only Jesus they see.
Every child and the families they represent are encouraged to visit a local church. We have a special time each day to pray with the students and build relationships that will last a lifetime. Through local church partnerships, we hope to introduce campers to a home church where they continue to seek truth through discipleship.
